The Polish School Of Dance SPK Iskry
The Polish School of Dance SPK Iskry, under the auspices of the Polish Combatant’s Association, was founded in 1974 by Bożena Langtry. The school of dance continues today through her daughter, Krysia Kovach as Artistic Director/Choreographer assisted by Choreographer Joasia Langtry, and Instructors Alexis Karsnicki, Alexandra Malkiewicz and Chris Dynowski. Consisting of five classes, the school has 45 students ages 4 and up. The school performs yearly at Folklorama and puts on two annual concerts, the traditional “Mikołaj” (Saint Nicholas) and a year-end recital in June.
